Faraday’s Law of induction…
Electromagnetic induction was discovered by Michael Faraday in 1831, and, independently and at the same time, by Joseph Henry. Faraday is also a character appearing on ABC’s hit TV show, Lost – he’s a physicist, and the only one who seems to know – at least from a scientific viewpoint – what the Island is all about. The plot is intricate. And so is the equation.
Harry Dean Stanton has always struck me as an actor who heavily relies on instinct, and as someone who trusts his instincts. I think that is what makes him so fascinating to watch in all the different roles he takes on. You’d never call him a leading man, but whenever he’s on screen he always seems to steal the show.
