About

Simple does it.

Welcome to my fine art website. I hope you enjoy the work. I’ve decided that the best way for me to keep this site active is to post work in a blog style so that I’m forced to try to post daily (and it’s pretty easy to use, so I have no excuses not to put stuff up quasi-regularly).

I’ll be posting current (Fresh) work as well as archived work and projects from the past 20 years or so, as I get them ready for posting. If you’ve seen some of my work at a show and don’t see it here, but are interested in seeing it please let me know.  Some work is available for purchase, so be sure to contact me if you see something you would like to buy.

At this time I don’t have my full bio/CV up here as it sorely needs updating. But here’s the basics:

BFA Painting from Boston University (1988)
MFA Painting from Temple University Tyler School of Art (1991)
And I am not currently represented by any art galleries.

And a brief bio blurb:

Richard is a painter and printmaker living and working in Moorestown, NJ. He received his MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University, and studied at Tyler’s MFA Painting program abroad in Rome. Richard has exhibited his work at galleries across the US and in Italy, Spain and Portugal. His work is in several large private collections. Richard was also the director of Pentimenti Gallery, in Philadelphia in the early 1990’s, and helped to establish Olde City as the art district of Philadelphia, with his involvement in First Friday. Richard is also a Creative Director/Art Director at Hypno, a small marketing and design agency based in Moorestown with his wife and partner Alison Judah. This is Hypno Design’s website.
